This report provides a comprehensive overview of the status of child rights in Mongolia, and what further progress needs to be made. The problems identified by Save the Children include economic disparities between urban and rural areas of Mongolia, difficulties with developing programs that are accessible to nomadic populations, and political issues that prevent nationwide implementation. The report also conducts in depth analysis of progress and limitations with ensuring child rights in areas of education, health, child labor, and poverty. The model used by Save the Children is impactful because it examines the status of child rights within the cultural context of Mongolia, taking into account the underlying socioeconomic conditions of the country.
