Gender Equality’s Progress, Viewed from the Middle East

With the 25th anniversary of the landmark Beijing Declaration approaching, this article takes a look back on progress in gender equality and female empowerment. One interesting point is that only 13 of 193 UN member countries have gender-equal cabinets.
