Mercy Corps, a global non-profit focused on humanitarian aid, highlights the life of a young girl in Niger. They set up spaces to discuss lifestyle choices such as marriage, childbirth, and entrepreneurship. In the video created that focuses on Badairiya's life, the young girl tells her story about her quest for education. Her parents no longer want her to go to school, despite her desire to learn. In the Mercy Corps Girls Group, Badariya has an opportunity to learn to create a better life for herself and her community, as well as the impact of the group in how she is able to express her opinions.
