Thank you for joining us in the global launch of UNICEF’s Programming Guidance for Parenting of Adolescents, which aims to strengthen evidence-based programming for parenting of adolescents. Building on parents’ strengths and equipping them to provide support to their adolescent children can have a profound positive influence on their children’s development.​

This webinar is on the global launch of UNICEF’s Programming Guidance for Parenting of Adolescents, which aims to strengthen evidence-based programming for parenting of adolescents. Building on parents’ strengths and equipping them to provide support to their adolescent children can have a profound positive influence on their children’s development. The webinar will:

  1. Help make the case as to why strengthen evidence-based programming for parenting of adolescents;
  2. Hear from adolescents and parents on their parenting needs and asks; and
  3. Introduce and share snapshot of Programming Guidance for Parenting of Adolescents.

Parent and adolescent speakers panel facilitated by Fabio Friscia, ADAP.  This includes Ms. Akhona Sambudla, South Africa; Anna from Ukraine, 16, who is a school council president and a member of two youth organisations; and Justin Francis, from the Philippines, 24, who is the Executive Director of Youth Voices Count (YVC), a regional network for young people in the Asia-Pacific region.
