As South Asia Regional Focal Point for the WHS Razwan Nabin facilitates youth participation and engagement from South Asia at the #WHSummit. Engaging young people is crucial for putting people at the center of humanitarian action and more changes are needed to ensure a better representation and integration of young people and communities in the humanitarian architecture. PHAP members and others share their thoughts on the World Humanitarian Summit process in Istanbul, 22-24 May 2016.The association is present in Istanbul to help amplify practitioner voices and bring clarity to the Summit process for those unable to participate on-site. PHAP is the individual-based professional association bringing together all parts of the humanitarian sector. With a shared vision that human life and dignity are safeguarded in the face of humanitarian crises, the association’s mission is to empower capable and informed professionals to transform humanitarian action.
