UNICEF has always been close to my heart. I was the founder of my high school’s UNICEF chapter where I educated the student body about topics such as child marriage and human trafficking. I also raised funds for Eliminate Project and hosted speaking engagements with UNICEF USA. As the Treasurer of the Harvard Undergraduate UNICEF Club, I now work to fundraise for the annual “Empowering Humanity” conference on campus.
I originally joined the Global Development Commons team back in September 2019, where I curated a plethora of content for the platform’s February 2020 prototype on topics such as WASH programs, child protection, and government actions in humanitarian emergencies, and have also worked with the summer volunteer Global Engagement Team.
