Onyinye, student researcher with the Global Engagement Team of UNICEF's Youth Researchers Program.
A rising junior at Barnard College of Columbia University, major in Economic Social History and exploring a concentration in Human Rights. In my time at College, I worked as a Staff Writer for the Columbia Daily Spectator, served on the board of Barnard’s chapter of She’s The First (a non-profit dedicated to supporting girls' education), and am currently the Outreach Chair of Columbia's UNICEF.
I am elated to merge my love for non-profit work and journalism to create content that spotlights my country, Nigeria. I am optimistic about Nigeria's future and believes education is indispensable in bringing my country's bright future to life. I hopes my project will inspire refreshing and fruitful partnerships between international organizations and CSOs in Nigeria focused on advancing Sustainable Development Goal 4.
