Biography

Lolayemi Charles is a current sophomore at New York University studying Global Public Health and Sociology on the pre-medical track. Lolayemi is a researcher in both the Global Engagement and Research team. Her research interests lie in the fields of health and education equity. For her first report contributing to the GDC platform, Lolayemi investigated how the COVID-19 pandemic would affect pre-existing inequities in education.
